  2. No one else can see into your cookbook, unless you authorise them to do so.
  3. The "Set" cookbook is available to everyone and contains ingredient data and sample recipes that you can use.

The "Cookbook".

Your user account that you log into to access NutriPlanner Zest is linked to an area called your "cookbook".

Everything that you create or enter while using any module of NutriPlanner Zest is stored within your cookbook and is therefore private to you.

The things that you enter or create will include:

  1. Recipe descriptions
  2. Menus
  3. Stock records
  4. Consumption records
  5. Orders to suppliers for ingredients
  6. Information about your own suppliers and the ingredients they provide you with

In addition, the details about you, your preferences and your business are also stored in your cookbook.

No one else can see what's in your cookbook unless you allow them to do so.

The "Set" cookbook

In addition to your own personal cookbook there is also a "Set" cookbook in the system.

The Set cookbook will contain some suppliers and their ingredients and a range of sample recipes. There may also be some sample menus in the Set cookbook as well.

Every user on the system, including you, can access the Set cookbook to see or use any of its content. You cannot add or modify anything in the Set cookbook though. However you can copy something from the Set cookbook into your own cookbook where you can then change it if you wish.

Throughout these tutorials you will see the term "cookbook" referred to regularly. Unless otherwise made clear, this will always mean your own, personal cookbook, unique to your account.
